Task

Your job as an embeded reported during the Revolutionary War is report back to your community. This is a difficult task! Read the information below to learn more about your task. 

Your task for this WebQuest will be to produce a "live from the front" broadcast videotape. The broadcast will take place during a battle or event during the Revolutionary War. Your teacher will divide your class into four or five groups and you each will have a different job for the broadcast. Included in your broadcast will be an interview with a historical figure and a 30 second persuasive commercial. Your teacher will assign your group an event and a historical figure. You will be responsible for determining the jobs of each student in the group.

The events are as follows: 1. Battle of Lexington/Concord 2. The Battle of Bunker Hill 3. The Battle of Yorktown 4. The Boston Massacre and the Boston Tea Party 5. The Declaration of Independence

The historical figures to be interviewed are: 1. King George III 2. George Washington 3. Thomas Jefferson 4. Patrick Henry 5. Thomas Paine
